MIDLAND, Mich. (WPTA21) – Grant Little pounded out four hits, helping the TinCaps to a series-opening 4-1 win over the Great Lakes Loons Saturday night.

After the Loons  opened the scoring in the bottom of the first on a Chris Roller solo home run, the TinCaps tied it in the second on an RBI double by Little down the left-field line.

The ‘Caps took the lead in the fifth with a Jawuan Harris triple and a Tucupita Marcano RBI groundout.

Efrain Contreras threw five innings of one-run ball, striking out six Loons batters in the process.

Fort Wayne added some much needed insurance in the eighth on a two-run double by Lee Solomon.
