TinCaps make it two straight over Bowling Green

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – The TinCaps used a late rally to beat the Bowling Green Hot Rods 4-2, on Sunday, the ‘Caps tenth win in their last twelve home games. 

The game went back-and-forth through the first five innings, as Fort Wayne took 1-0 and 2-1 leads in the second and fourth innings respectively, while Bowling Green would tie the game in the following third and fifth innings. Two doubles by Justin Lopez and as Ethan Skender RBI single highlighted the TinCaps’ early offensive output.

The game remained tied until the eighth, when Michael Curry and Lopez reached via a single and walk, respectively. Then, both came home to score on consecutive RBI singles by Agustin Ruiz and Skender.
