Komets send Campagna to Norfolk

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — The Komets top goal-scorer from last season will not return to the team in October.

Thursday, the Komets announced a trade, sending Campagna to Norfolk for future considertions.

Campagna led Fort Wayne with 35 goals last season.

The Komets also added a few players on Thursday, signing three guys to tryout agreements. The deals include goaltender Max Strong, defenseman Carl Greco, and forward Isaiah Crawford.

Strong and Greco played in the SPHL last season. Crawford just finished up a college career at Trine University, and he led the Thunder with 20 goals as a senior.
