Komets best Wheeling, end five game losing streak

WHEELING, W.V. (WPTA21) – J.C. Campagna had a pair of goals and an assist to lead the Komets to a 5-4 win at Wheeling on Sunday.

The victory ended a five game winless streak for the K’s.

Jason Binkley added a goal, the first of the game on which Campagna assisted, and Binkley added two assists later.

Also scoring for Fort Wayne were Marco Roy and Anthony Petruzzelli.

The win moved the Komets into a tie for third place with Indianapolis in the ECHL Central Division.
