Mad Ants fall at Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WPTA21) – The Mad Ants  fell to the Grand Rapids Drive 117-95 in Grand Rapids on Saturday night. It was the second night of a back-to-back for both teams.

Grand Rapids rallied from a 10-point first-half deficit to defeat Fort Wayne for the second time this season.

Zach Lofton led all scorers with 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting off the bench for Grand Rapids.

Rob Gray and Stephan Hicks tied for a team-high 15 points on the night.

With his first basket in the third quarter, Hicks surpassed 2,000 points in his G League career. Hicks joins a group, featured by only Ron Howard and Walker Russell, as the only players in franchise history to reach the 2,000-point plateau in their Mad Ants career.
