INDIANAPOLIS (WPTA21) — Edmond Sumner’s work with the Mad Ants has paid off.
Sumner signed a new deal with the Indiana Pacers on Monday, upgrading his status after starting the season on a two-way contract.
The Pacers do not release the terms of their contracts, but the deal reportedly includes a team option for next season.

Sumner played 17 games with the Mad Ants this season, averaging 23.9 points, 3.5 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. On Monday Sumner earned a spot on the Eastern Conference Midseason All-NBA G League First Team.
