FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — Sarah Frazier’s excellent day made things very interesting late on Sunday, but defending champ Lori Stinson managed to win her second-straight Women’s City championship, and fifth in her career.
Frazier had the best individual round of the entire tournament, shooting a three-under in round three to finish the tournament at seven-over.
Stinson, who had entered Sunday with a seven-stroke lead, shot a four-over 76 on Sunday, winning the tournament by just one stroke. After the tournament Stinson said she didn’t know Frazier had gotten that close, and wasn’t aware that she needed to sink her final putt to win.
