Marian hands Cougars first loss

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WPTA21) – Charles salary ran for 87 yards and three touchdowns to lead NAIA 6th ranked Marian to a 28-10 win over No. 3 Saint Francis Saturday night, the Cougars’ first loss of the season after a 3-0 start.

Salary’s first two touchdowns put Saint Francis in a 14-0 hole before USF got on the board on a one yard touchdown run by Martel Williams in the second quarter.

But USF could only muster a 19 yard Gavin Gardner field goal the rest of the way.
