Meleah Leatherman signs to play at Saint Francis

Central Noble basketball star Meleah Leatherman has signed her letter of intent to continue her playing career at the University of Saint Francis.

Leatherman is Central Noble’s all-time leader in rebounds and blocks, and sits at second in all-time scoring midway through her senior season. 

Local high school swimmers headed to National Paralympic Championships

Bishop Dwenger Freshman, Maddie Peters, and Snider Sophomore, Cali Prochaska are both headed to the National Paralympic National Championships in Tucson, Arizona this week.

Maggie has been legally blind since her premature birth, and Cali has been missing part of her left leg since birth, but neither of the girls let that stop them from doing what they love.

SAC Holiday Basketball Tournament brackets set

Gary Raber, Wayne athletic director, sent out the announcement on Tuesday afternoon. The SAC holiday basketball tournaments will begin with a girls game between Snider and North Side on 12/26 at 9am. The boys tournament starts with Concordia facing Bishop Luers at 10:45am.
