Did you know we’ve had 20 days of at least 80% cloud cover? And we haven’t had any totally clear skies, which, while not unusual for November, is still a humbling reminder that summer (and fall, for that matter) is firmly behind us.That doesn’t mean we won’t see warmer temperatures, however!
Friday will be just as cloudy as the past several days, but it will be even warmer with highs getting into the low 40s. Early Saturday morning we will see a large and juicy weather system zip through the Ohio Valley, bringing all of us a healthy dose of rain–perhaps an inch or more, to be exact! While some localized flooding is possible, I do not expect it to be a widespread concern. Highs will rise into the low 50s. Wind will also be a factor, with strong southerly gusts between 25 and 35 mph.
Cloudy and mild weather sticks around through Sunday, but temperatures sink back to cold levels by mid week next week.
Hang in there! These cloudy months can be a drag, but they don’t last forever!
