Temps returning to the 50s through Friday

First we get spoiled with sunny weather, next we’re going to be treated to mild high temperatures in the upper 40s to mid 50s! Unfortunately, this will come at a cost. Clouds will build in overnight tonight ahead of a mild storm system bringing severe weather to parts of Texas. This will not result in any severe weather here, but we will see increasing chances for rain throughout the day Thursday, especially after about noon. Rainfall amounts will remain quite light, however, ranging between 0.10″ and 0.30″. area wide.

Rain turns to showers Thursday night which should pave the way for a mostly dry Friday. It will be breezy, however, with a stiff west wind between 15 and 20 mph. Highs will be in the 50s.

Colder and generally cloudy weather stick around for the weekend with highs in the 30s.

Still no major storms–rain or snow–in the forecast for now! Enjoy this quiet weather period while it lasts 🙂
