As much as I hate to say it, we’re going to be bidding adieu to the sunshine for a few days as a rather large, but relatively week system moves through the Midwest and eventually right over us. This has already spread clouds into the area, but after midnight we can expect some light rain to begin. Lows will be in the low 40s.
Rain is likely through about 6-8 am, and then I anticipate mostly cloudy skies with only light showers/sprinkles throughout the day. A better chance for more organized rain arrives later in the afternoon and early evening. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s.
Steady rain, but cooler temperatures continue Friday into Saturday. It won’t be nonstop rain all the time, but we’ll see plenty of moisture (perhaps up to 2″ worth!) so keep that umbrella handy!
