Warm conditions and clear skies finally returned to the area today, and it looks like the warmth is here to stay! Temperatures will fall to the lower 50’s tonight, which is close to average for this time of year. Skies will remain partly cloudy along with southwest winds around 5 mph.
Southerly winds will continue to keep temperatures warm tomorrow. Expect highs in the mid-to-upper 70’s along with partly cloudy skies. A line of thunderstorms is then expected to move into the region later on in the evening or early morning hours. Widespread severe weather is not expected, but gusty winds and heavy rainfall are the main concerns. We will discuss timing in greater detail over the next 24 hours as forecast models come into better agreement.
