Strong to severe storms are possible this evening through tonight as a cold front moves through the area. The best chance for any severe weather will occur during the nighttime hours, however an isolated thunderstorm is possible during the evening hours.
The primary impact will be heavy rain and the potential for a lot of rain in a short amount of time. Thunderstorms that linger over one area may be capable of producing a few inches of rain in a few hours. Some small hail and gusty winds are also possible.
Thunderstorms will start moving out tomorrow morning however there will be a risk for lingering showers and thunderstorms later Friday as well.
Temperatures will be warm today with highs in the upper 70s to near 80. Overnight lows will be in the 60s with highs in the 70s tomorrow.
