It was cool late spring day with highs largely hitting the 50s and low 60s just about everywhere. A warmer and slightly wetter weather pattern will unfold by midweek, however!
In the meantime, expect a cool night with partly cloudy skies and lows in the low 40s. Tuesday will be a partly to mostly cloudy day with highs in the low to mid 60s, or just a few degrees warmer than today. A cold front will move through late Tuesday into Wednesday which could set off a few showers early in the day Wednesday morning, but clearing skies and warming temperatures will help us get to around 80º by the afternoon.
A series of weak systems will race and skip through the Midwest Thursday through the holiday weekend, and while organized severe weather does not look likely, several garden-variety thunderstorms are possible.
We’ll keep you updated as the week progresses!
