Drying out for the First Day of Summer

Now that the pesky low pressure system responsible for bringing rain and flooding to the region has exited, we’ll have a little time to breathe before our next round of rain moves in!

Tonight plan on clearing skies which will pave the way for a bit of patchy fog by Friday morning. The strong summer sun (yes, Friday is the First Day of Summer!) will break through the fog late in the morning and help temperatures rise into the upper 70s.

Much of Saturday looks dry with our next chance at rain arriving late Saturday and into much of Sunday. The storm threat looks low, but periods of heavy rain and clouds can be expected area wide. Highs will be in the 70s Saturday and the low to mid 80s Sunday.
