Showers ending today

Showers will come to an end during the afternoon and evening with heavy rain a possibility early Thursday. By midday, most of the activity will have moved out of the area but there still will be some lingering showers that may produce some light or moderate rainfall.

Temperatures will be held in check by overcast, rain showers and a steady breeze. Highs today will be in the low 70s with some northern areas remaining in the upper 60s.

Overnight clouds and winds will diminish which should allow widespread 50s across the area. Friday should start sunny with afternoon clouds moving into the area. Highs near 80 are likely.

The weekend should see a return of showers and thunderstorms, we’ll have that at 12 and 5 PM.
