Following the rain we saw yesterday, morning conditions are still damp and muggy as you head out the door. Early morning rain showers impacted some northern counties in 21 Country, but the rest of Sunday should stay fairly dry. Lingering moisture and high temperatures in the mid-80s could spark some spotty showers here and there, but any stray showers should be light barring any changing dynamics during the day.
The juicy airmass that has pumped heat and humidity into northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio over the past week will finally clear out throughout the day as drier and cooler airmass to the north moves into the area. By this evening, the shift will be noticeable as skies begin to clear and low temperatures dip to the lower 60s. Tomorrow will see high temperatures similar to today, but with less humidity in the air, conditions will feel much more comfortable. This dominating high pressure will set up over the region and will bring some very nice weather to start the work week.
Enjoy the end of the holiday weekend!
